Labour relations webinars for SMEs

27 July 2020 – EBRD Advisory, in partnership with the National Coordinator Office of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in Moldova supported by the European Union organized in July a series of labour relations webinars for SMEs in Moldova, aimed to raise awareness among SMEs about the navigating Crisis and post-Crisis employment and labour relations. At the request of the webinar organizers, the Economic Council ensured the dissemination of information about these seminars among its 118 members – including the largest business associations in Moldova. Over 100 participants accessed the webinars. Within the seminars were discussed topics such as:

Skills and productivity:

–          Why entrepreneurs should be concerned

–          Tool on increasing enterprise productivity through skills development

Skills development:

–          Staff development

–          Work-based learning

–          Apprenticeship

–          Entrepreneurial skills and competences

How can enterprises engage in influencing policy making?

–          Association building

–          Sectoral skills strategies
