The Economic Council to the Prime Minister has new members
Dorin Recean, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova has signed a provision accepting three new organisations as members of the Economic Council. They are the Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Moldova, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of Moldova and the Association of Packaging Producers and Importers of Moldova. Representatives of these entities have applied for membership of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova by written request to the Council Secretariat.
The Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova has 145 members and is a platform for debate that ensures dialogue and cooperation between public authorities, the business community, development partners and the scientific community.
This year the platform marks 10 years of activity, during which time it has provided solutions and expertise on over 200 topics and initiatives to which Council members have contributed.
The Economic Council is managed by the Secretariat which is supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, with financial support from the UK Government’s Good Governance Fund.
