April 2, 2021 – Hearings on the draft law on amending approx. 30 pieces of legislation on the digitization of processes and remote interaction will take place on Tuesday, April 6, on the platform of the Parliamentary Committee on Economy, Budget and Finance.
The document provides for adjustments in legislation to allow remote business registration, including changes in the status of business registration and liquidation; issuing decisions, certificates, extracts, permissive documents in electronic format; the use of qualified advanced electronic signatures in employment relationships and the promotion of distance interaction between employer and employee. The project also involves the development and promotion of amendments to personal data protection legislation.
The project was developed by the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure with the support of the Economic Council, passed all the necessary approvals, but in the existing circumstances can not be promoted at the initiative of the Government. The document is highly anticipated by the business community, which has repeatedly called on the authorities to promote this legislative package, driven by the need to combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis and to simplify remote interaction through digital tools between citizens, business and authorities.
