24 February 2021 – The report was prepared with the support of the USAID Structural Reform Program in Moldova. This report covers aspects related to the process of creating an e-store, at all stages, from the entrepreneur’s decision, costs, integrated modules and to attracting customers online, versus placing a product / service on a marketplace already existing, but also the evaluation of the opportunity costs related to this decision.
And because it is an important element in e-commerce, some financial and logistics aspects were also analyzed. Also, a separate chapter is on payment methods in e-commerce, in which experts come up with a series of calculations and recommendations for the business environment, authorities, but also for emerging entrepreneurs.
This set of recommendations made by USAID experts will be integrated into the second draft legislation for the digitalisation of the economy, which the Council intends to launch as soon as possible.
