Refugee involvement in economic and entrepreneurial activities discussed at Economic Council

The Economic Council is discussing how these people can open a business in our country. The discussions are taking place at the request of the Ministry of Interior and the General Inspectorate for Migration.

The meeting discussed international best practices on the involvement of refugees and beneficiaries of temporary protection in economic and entrepreneurial activities in Moldova.

The participants concluded that there is a need to assess the current legal framework and identify gaps that should be removed to facilitate the participation of beneficiaries of temporary protection status in Moldova.

In the next 2 weeks, the relevant ministries are expected to propose solutions to contribute to the economic integration of beneficiaries of temporary protection in Moldova.
